About these terms

These terms and conditions govern the use of this website and the supply of goods and services by GDC Fire & Security (NI) Ltd ("GDC", "we", "us"), Belfast, Northern Ireland. By using this website or engaging our services you agree to these terms.

Quotations & surveys

Surveys are free and carry no obligation. Written quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and cover only the works described. Additional works requested after acceptance may be charged separately, always agreed with you first.

Installations & certification

Installations are carried out to the relevant British and European standards under our SSAIB, BAFE + PSA accreditations. Certification is issued on completion and on receipt of payment in full.

Monitoring & maintenance

Monitoring and maintenance services are provided under separate ongoing agreements, with terms, response arrangements and renewal dates set out in each agreement.

Payment

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion of the works as set out in your quotation or invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts in line with statutory late-payment provisions.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any works is limited to the price paid for those works. No security or fire system can guarantee the prevention of all loss; systems reduce risk.
